REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

At Zap meals (operated by Chhonk Meals Private Limited), we take pride in the quality of our protein products. Because our products are perishable food items, we have established the following policy to ensure safety and transparency for all our customers.

1. REFUND AND RETURN

Due to the nature of food products, we follow a No-Return Policy once the product has been delivered, except in the specific cases mentioned below.

A. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds: You may request a return or refund only if:

  • Damaged Product: The product was received in a physically damaged condition.

  • Wrong Item: You received a product different from what was ordered.

  • Expired Product: The product received is past its 'Best Before' or expiry date at the time of delivery.

B. Non-Returnable Scenarios: We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with.

  • "Change of mind" after delivery.

  • Issues reported after the 48-hour inspection window.

2. REFUND PROCESS

If your request meets the eligibility criteria above, please follow these steps:

  1. Notification: Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order at chhonkmeals01@gmail.com.

  2. Evidence: You must include your Order ID and high-quality photographs or a short video showing the damage, the incorrect item, or the expiry date.

  3. Verification: Our quality assurance team will review the evidence within 2 business days.

  4. Credit: Once approved, the refund will be initiated. As per payment gateway standards, the amount will be credited back to the original method of payment (Bank Account/Credit Card/UPI) within 7-10 business days.

Note: The actual time for the credit to reflect in your account depends on your bank’s processing timelines.

3. CANCELLATION PROCESS

We aim to dispatch your protein mix as quickly as possible to maintain freshness.

  • Before Shipment: You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched from our facility. Please email us immediately with your Order ID. In such cases, a full refund will be processed immediately.

  • After Shipment: Once an order has been handed over to our third-party logistics partners, it cannot be cancelled.

  • Refusal of Delivery: If you refuse to accept a delivery for a pre-paid order, the Company reserves the right to deduct shipping and handling charges before processing any partial refund.
